Today we mourn for one of our members of the community (aka the Yellow bubble), Nathan T. Freeman. If you are working in the Notes/Domino area for some years you definitely came across this name. Nathan was one of the busiest developers for decades, always exploring the borders of Notes and Domino and way beyond.

It would be difficult to overstate Nathan T. Freeman's impact on the Domino community. I can only imagine he was similarly impactful in other parts of his life, but that's how I knew him. Back when I was first getting involved in Domino, he was one of the main people to follow. I'd read blogs and comments and know that with his name came something very much worth reading. His assertiveness came across clearly, but was immediately followed by the justification.

Over the weekend we lost another long-standing member of the Domino community, Nathan T Freeman. Nathan was outgoing, often controversial, but passionate about open source and helping others. Everyone who met him will have stories about him. But I know he is one of the individuals I have to thank for being where I am today.

R.I.P. Nathan

Today, we have lost our Co-Founder Nathan T. Freeman. Nathan was a fighter, an inspiration and a visionary. As one of the Founders of OpenNTF, he had a huge influence of how and what OpenNTF has become. Beside his contribution as a leader, he has also done the hard work of contributing code. Code that will be a part of his legacy to us. He had always a strong opinion and therefore also strong arguments. Disussions with him where always fun and intens at the same time.

What a great start into the easter time with high hopes that HCL has some easter presents for us - I'm looking forward to the C3UG AppDevPack Roundtable next week. It is all about Customers and Partners getting vocal about the state and the future of this great addition to the HCL Domino Development Tool arsenal. The C3UG Team will be joined by 35+ Customers from around the world and the HCL Team responsible - Thomas Hampel, Dan Dumont and Barry Rosen. And there will be some community announcements as well, so stay tuned !
