The previous two posts provided a walk through the API components in the QueryResultsProcessor object. Now I want to move into what you can, and arguably should do with the feature.

More on the QRP pieces .. because the simplest results view with only one source does not do justice to the power we built into the engine. QRP Pieces – the Formula override

Well, I’ve been busy putting together content to blog about. But since 12.0.1 is on the verge of shipping, this is a good juncture to catch people up with what we’ve been up to. Today’s topic is … the Query Results Processor

I have spent many years working deep within the Notes Indexing Facility (NIF). I’m not done, because there is more to be done and harvested from the rich functionality well-bundled from day one by the earliest Domino developers. It can be a challenging area because so much variety of data flows through the code and…

PSYCHED about DQL Next

DQL Next is under design. What we have provided in Domino 10 and 11 is basically a find engine using all available means within Domino of searching document contents. We’re not done there to be sure. But what follows is a vast set of capability never bundled as we are going to bundle it. I’m excited about it, because it will make Domino developers very powerful and efficient.

Every trip I take there are moments of apprehension. I won’t call them fear; it’s not that strong a sentiment. I just say to myself “Well, I wonder how this will turn out.” And this trip had a few of them, the first of which happening at the Düsseldorf train station trying to get a ticket to my final destination in Gelsenkirchen.
