There are signs you can tell summer is over. For us in the northern hemisphere, the weather starts feeling chillier (although it’s been very changeable in UK most of the “summer”). And things start ramping up as people get back from holidays and Q3 comes to an end.

There is no word on how the catalog will be migrated or even if it will be migrated to a new marketplace. It was two years ago (almost to the day they are doing the sunset now) that I wrote a blog posting about Greenhouse was being retired.

Let’s start by dealing with the 800 lb (363 kg) gorilla in the room. Is “Lotus Notes” dead? Well technically yes, because the official name has now been changed to IBM Notes. A palace! Nothing will suit us better than a palace when we return to Europe for our 12th conference. Welcome to Social Connections 12 in Vienna and Palais Pallavicini. The beautiful city of Vienna is awaiting us with its stunning architecture, good restaurants, chocolate cakes, castles, horses and den schönen blauen Donau.

Thank you, ICS Community, for all you did for me!

As you may have heard, I recently announced that I'm leaving IBM and I'm off to a new opportunity. When I first joined IBM in 2000, I never dreamed that I'd be here for 17 years! But IBM has nurtured me, supported me, enabled me, and has helped me become the person I am today, and for that I'm eternally grateful. I've worked with some of the brightest people in the industry, and learned so much from them!
